The topic of play in education has attracted considerable attention in recent years. This essay will discuss the view that play is the best way for children below age of five to learn, but is not really suitable in the education of older children, teens or adults before explaining why i disagree with it. Many people support this view because children get attracted to play and be attentive during the play which makes them learn new things, whereas, older children, teens or adults prefer studying using textbooks or any other study material. Furthermore, children rember things when they see it through their eyes rather than listening them or reading through textbooks. As a result, many schools promote plays in younger classrooms. However, I believe that there is no age group for which play is not suitable for education. This is mainly because play as technique of teaching is so useful as it grabs attention on it's own and which makes it one of the best technique of teaching. In addition, if we talk about human pyschology a human mind remember things more when they see it thorugh drama instead of reading it frm textbooks. Therefore, play should be used in teching for all age groups. In conclusion, although the view has some merit, I believe that there is no age limitations for using play as method of teaching because people of all age group prefer watching it rather than studying it from textbooks.
