The education system in my country has shaped social mobility. Yet it also reveals a clear strength and weakness. In my opinion, this education system is strong in accessibility and foundational knowledge, but weaker in fostering practical skills and creativity. On the whole, my own experience supports this idea, since the quality of my school and teachers reflected both this strength and this weakness.

Moreover, one major strength lies in the emphasis that schools and teachers place on academic literacy and standardised assessment. For instance, from primary school to university, the curriculum built my analytical reading and numeracy systematically through structured teaching and good resources. Furthermore, these methods supported my later study and allowed fair comparisons between students, promoting equality and inclusion across regions. Indeed, academic expectations were transparent, so student performance was largely merit-based rather than influenced by background.

However, a significant weakness lies in the limited connection between this education system and real-world application in school and beyond. Admittedly, teaching relied heavily on examinations and memorisation, with few opportunities for project-based learning, innovation, or industry exposure. Consequently, this approach reduces the ability of students to apply knowledge creatively and adapt after leaving school.

In conclusion, the education system in my country combines a strong academic foundation with a notable practical weakness. Ultimately, better policy would let teachers and schools integrate experiential learning and improvement without undermining the academic strength that students already gain.
