Each colour is one skill. Tap a colour to hide it. Tap it again to show it.

People differ in whether they prefer a stable climate or a place where the weather changes through the year. Indeed, while a constant climate offers predictability, I believe living where the weather shifts across the seasons is more rewarding. Moreover, varied weather supports wellbeing, a balanced economy and a richer relationship with the surrounding areas.

Furthermore, the strongest advantage of changing seasons is the positive impact that varied weather has on health. For instance, seasonal weather encourages diverse activity, such as spring exercise and winter sport, which no unchanging climate can offer. Consequently, exposure to shifting daylight across the year regulates sleep and mood in ways a fixed climate rarely matches. Indeed, people in regions of constant temperature often report the fatigue that varied weather helps areas avoid.

In addition, a changing climate promotes economic and environmental balance across many regions. For example, areas with four distinct seasons can support several crops and attract visitors at different times of the year. Moreover, this seasonal weather spreads tourism and energy use across the year rather than crowding them into one climate pattern. Consequently, although a stable climate simplifies planning, such uniform areas can intensify resource pressure and dull adaptive skills.

In conclusion, despite the convenience of a uniform climate, I clearly prefer places where the weather changes through the year. Indeed, seasonal weather enhances health, sustains varied activity across regions and deepens awareness of the natural areas around us. Therefore, living with changing weather offers broader long-term advantages than the sameness of a permanent climate.
