Public transportation plays a central role in mobility and economic participation in our country. In particular, while this transport system has expanded rapidly, its performance still shows a clear strength and weakness. On the whole, in my opinion, the principal strength of public transport lies in accessibility, whereas its weakness relates to reliability.

Moreover, the greatest strength of the public transport system is its extensive coverage at relatively low cost. For instance, buses, suburban trains, and metro lines connect residential areas with jobs, enabling low-income commuters to travel daily. Furthermore, fare subsidies and integrated ticketing reduce financial barriers, so this transit network supports social inclusion across the country. Indeed, wide public transport coverage lowers traffic congestion and contributes to reducing fuel consumption and urban pollution.

However, the system suffers from a persistent weakness in punctuality, capacity, and maintenance during peak hours. Admittedly, overcrowding on public transport creates discomfort, while delays from ageing infrastructure erode the trust of daily commuters. Consequently, in smaller regions, limited service frequency makes this transport system impractical, reinforcing reliance on private cars.

In conclusion, public transportation in our country offers a clear strength through affordability but a real weakness in operation. Ultimately, improving reliability and expanding capacity would strengthen the transit system and restore public confidence across the country.
