Experiences
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am thrilled to announce that our school will be organising a day trip to the National History Museum on the 25th of March for all Year 6 students. This trip is an integral part of our curriculum, aiming to bring history to life and complement the topics we've been covering in class.
The museum offers a range of interactive exhibits that cover various periods in history, from the dinosaurs to the space age. We believe this will be a fantastic learning opportunity for the students, sparking their curiosity and enhancing their understanding of historical events and eras.
To ensure the trip is accessible to all, the school has subsidised the cost, requesting a nominal fee of £15 per student. This fee covers all travel expenses, entry to the museum, and an educational workshop conducted by the museum's experts.
Permission slips will be sent home tomorrow, and we ask that they be returned by the 10th of March, along with the fee. Please ensure your child wears their school uniform and brings a packed lunch on the day.
We are also looking for parent volunteers to help supervise the children. If you are available and interested in joining us, please indicate this on the permission slip.
Thank you for your continued support in making these enriching experiences possible for our students.
Best regards,
Mike
Headmaster
