I use a planner to write down when I'll do homework and when I'll go to the club so I never miss deadlines. Plus, clubs help us relax after a day of classes. If I only study, I get burned out easily. Speaker2: Yeah, and clubs teach us skills that classes don't. I've learned how to work in a team and speak in front of people from the drama club those skills will help me even when I'm in college. If we cut down on club time to do more homework, we're missing out on important life skills. Speaker3: But not everyone is good at time management. A lot of my classmates already struggle to balance homework and clubs adding more club time would just make that worse. Speaker 1: Hmm, maybe we could find a middle ground? Like, add 30 minutes instead of a whole hour? That way, we have more time for clubs without taking too much time away from homework. And maybe the extra time could be optional, so students who are really busy can choose to leave early if they need to. Speaker2: That's a great idea! 30 minutes isn't too long, but it would make a big difference for the drama club we could finish rehearsing a scene and even get feedback from the teacher. And if the school schedules club time right after lunch, we won't have to choose between clubs and homework in the evening. Plus, having a slightly longer session would let us actually complete projects without feeling rushed every time. Speaker3: Okay, that does sound more reasonable. I guess 30 minutes wouldn't be as bad as a whole hour. But we should make sure the school doesn't add club time on days when we have a lot of tests like before midterms or finals. Maybe the student council could also do a quick survey each month to see which weeks are too busy for extra activities.
