Practice Listening: Multiple Choice, Single Answer ID: #41034 Short Dinosaurs
Instructions
Most scientists believe that birds descended from certain kinds of small meat-eating dinosaurs. These dinosaurs had bodies that resembled birds in certain ways. Such similarities included an S-shaped curve of the neck, a furcula or wishbone in the breast, and a foot composed of three primary toes with the 4th toe on the back of the foot. Some scholars believe these dinosaurs may have developed feathers. The feathers could have been used to keep their bodies warm-blooded. Scientists have also found skeletons of dinosaurs sitting on top of their egg nests in a bird-like position. The fossils suggest that dinosaurs may have cared for their young in much the same way as birds do. Over millions of years, these small dinosaurs may have developed into modern birds.

What feature of dinosaurs is believed to have been used for maintaining warm-bloodedness?
