Four-Stroke Engine
Transcript:
The engines of most cars operate on a four-stroke cycle. During the four strokes of this cycle, a piston moves down and up inside a cylinder. Valves help control the flow of fuel and air into the engine, and the flow of exhaust out of the engine. The first stroke of the cycle begins with the intake stroke. In this stroke, the intake valve is open and the exhaust valve (is closed).
