Practice Listening: Select Missing Word ID: #41081 Short The Hydro Pulper
Instructions
The process of recycling paper begins in a huge vat called a hydro pulper, which operates much the same way as a kitchen blender. The Hydro Pulper has a blade that agitates a mixture of paper and water, beating the paper's tightly woven woody fibres literally to a pulp. Detergents may be added to the pulp to dissolve any printing inks, water then flushes the inks away. The pulp next passes through huge screens that filter out materials such as staples, paper clips, or dirt. At this point, the recycled pulp can be processed much like (the original pulp).
