African Bush
Transcript:
Averaging 6.3 tons, the largest living land animal is the African Bush elephant. A typical adult bull stands 10 feet 6 inches at the shoulders and uses its trunk to grab tree branches for food. Its trunk is so powerful that it is capable of uprooting entire trees and its appetite so large that it can consume up to 500 pounds in one day. Its average length from the tip of its trunk to the tip of its tail is 25 feet. Yet the largest recorded African Bush elephant reached 35 feet long (and weighed 13 1/2 tons).
