Medium Hair Colours R
Transcript:
During the Roman Empire hair dye was one of the most popular ways for people to make themselves look different. The many traders that came to Rome and other in in cities had a variety of natural hair colours, which the Romans wanted to copy. The most popular hair colouring was blonde, which was associated with the exotic and foreign appearance of people from present day fonts in Germany. Many Roman men and women, dyed their hair blonde, but other popular colours were red and black. The most striking colour of all however could only be afforded by the wealthiest of Romans and that was gold some of them how did they hear with goldest. The Romans used a variety of methods and ingredients for dying their hair including plants berries or question not shelves one particularly horrible recipe involved leeches mixed with vinegar mixture was less than two months and then women would apply it to their hair, and sit in the sun to allow it to bake. It's interesting that while the message may have changed in the last two thousand years the fact that we regularly dye our hair hasn't changed at all.
