Dear Residents,

The Greenway Council is pleased to announce the implementation of new recycling regulations aimed at improving our community's environmental footprint. Starting next month, we will be introducing two key changes to our waste collection service. Firstly, glass materials will now be collected separately from other recyclables. Residents are requested to place glass bottles and jars in the special blue bins provided. This measure is intended to facilitate the recycling process and ensure the material can be efficiently repurposed.

Secondly, the council will also begin collecting electronic waste twice a month. Items such as old mobile phones, laptops, and small electrical appliances can be left beside your regular recycling bin on the designated collection days. This initiative not only helps in reducing harmful e-waste but also recovers valuable materials that can be reused in manufacturing new products.

Please note that there will be no changes to the collection schedule for other recyclables and general waste. We hope these changes will make it easier for everyone to contribute to a more sustainable future.
