The Elmwood Council is thrilled to announce a series of exciting community events scheduled to take place this spring. Our aim is to bring our community closer together and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes Elmwood a special place to live.

First on our calendar is the Elmwood Spring Fair, set to kick off on the 5th of April. The fair will feature local artisans, food stalls offering cuisines from around the world, and live music performances by local bands. It's a family-friendly event, with plenty of activities for children, including face painting and a puppet show.

Following the Spring Fair, we are hosting the Elmwood Film Festival from the 15th to the 20th of April. This year's theme is "Global Stories," showcasing films that bring to life diverse cultures and experiences. Screenings will be held at various locations across the town, including the newly renovated Elmwood Theatre.

We are also excited to introduce the "Elmwood Reads" programme, a community-wide book club that will commence in late April. The programme aims to foster a love for reading and discussion among residents of all ages. Our first book selection will be announced shortly, with group discussions scheduled to take place in local cafes and the public library.
