The Elmwood Community Library is thrilled to introduce several new initiatives aimed at promoting literacy and community engagement. Firstly, we are launching a "Book of the Month" club, where members can sign up to receive a specially selected book each month, encouraging reading and discussion among community members. Additionally, we are expanding our digital resources, providing access to e-books and online journals to all our library members. This initiative is part of our commitment to making reading and learning accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical ability to visit the library.
In an effort to support local authors, we will also be hosting monthly author talks, featuring writers from our community and surrounding areas. These events are free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to meet authors, learn about their writing process, and discover new books.
Finally, we are excited to announce the introduction of a new children’s section, designed with interactive learning tools and a wide selection of books for young readers. This area will be a vibrant space for children to explore, read, and participate in scheduled storytelling sessions.
