Annual Book
Dear Patrons,
We are thrilled to announce the return of our much-loved Annual Book Sale and Community Day, set to take place on Saturday, 14th October, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our main library premises. This year, we're expanding our offerings to include not only a wide range of discounted books but also exciting activities for all ages.
For our young readers, we will have a storytelling corner where local authors will read their stories, followed by interactive sessions. Additionally, there will be a workshop on creative writing for teenagers interested in developing their writing skills.
Adults can look forward to a meet-and-greet with several renowned local authors, who will be signing books and discussing their writing processes. We are also introducing a series of short talks on the importance of libraries in our community throughout the day.
Remember, all proceeds from the book sale will go towards improving library services, including the purchase of new books and the implementation of community programs. We also welcome book donations in good condition leading up to the event.
We can't wait to see you there and share in our community's love for reading and learning.
Warm regards,
The Local Library Team
