Practice Listening: Multiple Choice, Multiple Answers ID: #43833 Medium Barney
Instructions
The other day I was on Facebook like a really good and there was this post and it said if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. And I found myself going like this and that just brought me back to like Barney. And like, it's weird. But I learned English through Barney, and that's why I got such a happy feeling because. You know, I remember when I didn't really have any worries and all I was doing just at home because my mom worked so much. So I would always be at home watching Barney and learning English. I didn't speak English when I moved to the United States at four years old, so I learned so much through through Barney, you know, my mom. Taught me the ABC's and numbers and everything in Spanish and I and I actually knew how to. In Spanish at 4:00, but Barney Barney taught me that the vowels in in English, which was really weird because in English vowels have to sounds A and ah. And so I didn't know that. And so that's the, you know, that's the that's how weird. I guess the new language was for me and I wasn't used. To it and I thought. This purple dinosaur in front of the TV is like crazy because he's speaking all these sounds that I had never heard.

What significant impacts did watching Barney have on the speaker as a child?
