Grasslands include the prairies of North America, the pompous of South America, the plains of Europe, the steps of Asia and the savannahs of Africa. The savannahs of East Africa have more animals than any other grassland area. Rainfall in grasslands is seasonal, and the animals sometimes travel great distances. Define grass. Since the rich soils of grasslands are ideal for farming, people have converted many such areas to farmland. Because of this fact, many grassland animals have become endangered due to the loss of their habitat. People have also overhunted numerous. Grassland animals in grasslands of continents such as North America and South America, people have already driven most of the animals away from their natural habitat.
