We all know the products fast food companies sell are physically addictive and dangerous to the body. The same arguments were used against the cigarette industry but the trouble is the law treats them completely differently.
Fast food companies and international coffee stores are able to offer the highest rent, so they take all the best locations in shopping areas. I don't know how much longer local cafes and restaurants we'll be able to carry on trying to compete.
One fast food company claims to sell over seventy hamburgers every second. That's seventy a second. How long have we been talking for? And they have an average of sixty two million people going into their restaurants every day. That's sixty two million, more than the population of Great Britain.
It's right that fast food restaurants have been successful. They're so clean and comfortable and they're often the only place young people and mothers with children can easily meet.
