Entrepreneurs who want to build companies and make large profits need to have certain skills and qualities to do it successfully. But there's one skill that's needed above all else to be able to run a successful business and that's good communication. And you need this for two reasons. Firstly, you have to be able to communicate your ideas effectively to your team. You may be incredibly creative, imaginative and able to develop ideas quickly. But these are useless if no one understands your ideas.
The second reason is that you must be able to speak to your customers. You could be highly motivated and work hard to meet your goals, but if you don't spend time with your customers or give them a good service, they'll go elsewhere. Entrepreneurs usually have a high level of intelligence and are extremely knowledgeable about their subject area. They want to achieve success quickly and don't want to miss opportunities. But unfortunately, such qualities don't always go together with people skills and yet it’s these skills that are the most important.
