The report presents the findings of the line graph regarding number of new cars sold categorised by thier engine type in Moreton area From year 1 to year 7 and prjected till year 7. Overall, sales of petrol and diesel engine cars plumeted over the period, whereas electric cars sale surged within the same period. According to the data, petrol and diesel engine cars declined from 12,000 cars in year 1 to almost 4,500 cars in year 5, further declining slighty to 4,100 in year 7. However, electric cars sales indicates opposite trend, as it increased from less than 1,000 cars in year 1 to aproximately to 4,500 in year 5, finally crossing 6,000 cars in year 7. Several factors may explain these changes. A 5,000 euro reward was made available to a person shifting from petrol and diesel engine cars to electric cars, but it did not made significant impact until year 4. Looking ahead, projection shows that petrol and diesel engine car sale will gradually decline to zero in year 10, as the govenment will ban the sale of petrol and diesel cars after 3 years. In contrast, sales of electric cars will surge to 10,000 cars in year 9, and will remain stable after that. In my opinion, projection are accurate according to the changes that govenment had announced.
