Yeah, I'd like to add on the too much sleep point that both Marie and Meredith made. I don't think there is a biological basis for too much sleep to be causing harm. I think that what we see in observational studies that consistently show that over 9 hours per day of sleep is associated with increased mortality, cardiovascular mortality risk is for methodological reasons. There is something there is under an under inline factor there that we don't capture this kind of studies don't capture properly. My suspicion, my guess is that it has to do with mental health oversleeping, but perhaps there is no as far as I know there is no biological mechanism to suggest that too much sleeping can be causing harm to our health, and in any case, in our society, the problem is too little sleep. So, I don't think it's worth considering too much sleep as a public health problem.
