All  human  life  starts  as  a  single-cell;  this  has  been  well-documented.  However,  did  you  know  that  a  single  cell,  with  the    for  life,  was  formed  before  your  mother  was  born?  So,  if  your  mother  was  30  when  she  had  you,  on  your  18th  birthday  you  could  arguably  consider  yourself  48  years  old!
But  what  about  the  chemicals  which  make  up  your  body?  Well,  theyre  borrowed  for  a  fairly  short  period.  Hydrogen,  the  most  common  chemical,  was  formed  13.7  billion  years  ago.  Carbon  and  oxygen  were  made  in  the  middle  of  stars  12  billion  years  ago.  You  are,  in  fact,  stardust!  But,  of  course,  not  all  of  the  human  body  is  human.  In  fact,  there  are    few  human  cells,  compared  to  bacteria  -  ten  times  fewer,  in  fact.  Many    influence  health  and  bacteria  are  definitely  one  of  them.  One  experiment  strongly  linked  bacteria  to  well-being  when  a  scientist  attempted  to  raise  animals  in  a  bacteria-free  environment.  Many  died  and  those  that  did  survive  needed  an    diet  to  keep  them  alive.  It  seems  bacteria  are  a  necessary  part  of  the    we  enjoy.
