The  increasing  demand  for  housing  is  a  global  problem.  One  South  African  company  has    this  issue  by  designing  a  new  construction  material  which  meets  the  expectations  of  the  poorer  members  of  society  -  its  cheap  but  more  importantly,  also  safe.  The    homes  are  made  from  a  removable,  reusable,  recyclable  plastic  in  the  shape  of  a  house,  which  can  be  filled  with  cement  when  its  in  place  to  make  it  stronger.  It  is  likely  to  completely  change  the  nature  of    areas.  It  has  few    with  other  homes  currently  available.  The  whole  house  takes  just  one  day  to  build  and  can  be  put  up  by  private  individuals  buying  the  home,  as  no  skills  are  required.  This  dramatically  cuts  the  main  cost  of  homes  -  labour  fees.  These  homes  will    improve  the  quality  of  life  for  thousands  of  families  living  in  poverty  and  are  expected  to  play  a  leading  role  in  cities  in  the  future.
