Experts regularly research to identify the best education system. Many institutions offering higher education particularly undergraduate programmes, compete internationally for students. So what system works the best?
Many people believe that single-sex education where boys go to one school and girls go to another, is better and has more than problems. These schools often have very positive results in end-of-school tests. However, with the internet and better communications, more children don't go to school but learn through home schooling. There have always been worries that not mixing with other children would have a effect on their social skills when they are older but there has not been much research recently in of this argument.
Educational institutions in different countries may have very different views on how to good behaviour and punish bad behaviour. There is one thing which all experts agree on: education systems in different countries, or even within different neighbourhoods, have different aims to suit them social needs and there is no one ideal system.
