For decades, the health of half the population has been sidelined in medical research, but there are signs that this can finally be addressed. However, some researchers and advocates are working to change this situation and raise awareness and funding for women’s health research. They argue that studying women’s health is not only a of justice, but also a way to improve the health of everyone, as it can reveal new insights into biological mechanisms, environmental factors, and social determinants of health. By investing in women’s health research, we can science and medicine for the benefit of all.
