Heart  disease  is  the  number  one  killer  in  the  US,  but  many  people  dont  know  the  signs  or  how  to    it.  Heart  disease  is  a  term  for  different  problems  that  affect  the  heart  or  blood  vessels,  such  as  blocked  arteries,  irregular  heartbeats,  or  birth  defects.  Some  of  the  symptoms  of  heart  disease  are  chest  pain,  shortness  of  breath,  nausea,  sweating,  or  feeling  faint.  These  can  happen  when  the  heart  is  not  getting  enough  blood  or  oxygen.  If  you  have    of  these  symptoms,  especially  if  they  are  severe  or  sudden,  you  should  call  911  or  get  medical  help    away.  You  can  lower  your  risk  of  heart  disease  by  making  some  healthy  changes  in  your  life.  Some  of  the  things  you  can  do  are  eating  more  fruits  and  vegetables,    down  on  meat  and  processed  foods,  exercising  regularly,  drinking  water  instead  of  sugary  drinks,  quitting  smoking,  managing  stress,  and    connected  with  friends  and  family.  These  habits  can  help  your  heart  and  your  overall  health.
