The    environment    in    which    you    work,    the    design    of    your    workstation    and    your    relationship    with    colleagues    at    work    can    all    cause    stress,    which    in    time    can    cause    long-term    health    problems.    We    all    react    to    situations    differently,    and    for    some    people    stress    can    them    on    to    work    better.    But    for    many    workers    stress    can    be    extremely    harmful.    Catherine    works    at    a    busy    airport    check-in    desk.    She    is    continually    dealing    with    angry    or    impatient    members    of    the    public    who    her    if    their    planes    are    delayed.    Her    workstation    is    uncomfortable,    her    working    day    repetitive    and    her    supervisor    insists    on    looking    her  shoulder    all    the    time.    To    make    matters    worse,    a    has    hit    the    industry    and    Catherine    now    worries    about    the    security    of    her    job.    Fortunately,    she    knows    how    to    recognise    the    symptoms    of    stress    and    is    taking    to  deal    with    the    problem.
