The book is structured according to the different of literature—plays, poems or novels for example—and through the history of each one with wonderful insights into the of different writers. Particularly interesting are the last two chapters which examine the novel and multicultural English. Swann the diversity that has characterized the literature of Britain, its political, religious and divisions.
