I think that as a monograph is an anthropologist, whether we define ourselves as engaged or not, we should at all time remain aware of not our voice for the voices of those. In my case, indigenous groups, we are aiming to accompany in their claims, their life projects and struggles towards social justice. And self in the last few decades. Canada this has become particularly true in the fields of indigenous studies, a major of our work and responsibility as anthropologists is to keep producing descriptions. In my experience, deep and engagement are not antithetical and contradictory. Deep ethnography. Is in itself a form of and advocacy away to understand whom the indigenous people we are working with are.
