I don't understand people who just stick to what they know — like the same dish every time they get at Chinese . I prefer to try out things that I haven't sampled before, particularly if it's something I'm used to being in a certain way and someone has had a take on it, or has done something out of the ordinary with it. Like the other day an Australian friend made some ice cream. Sounds odd, doesn't it? But actually it worked really well.
