For the last 50 years, we have been researching the barriers that stop women from getting a higher in the job market. Now, there has been a shift of this question to why women are choosing not to consider getting in top positions. Glass Ceiling: the barrier that stops women, or other groups, from getting the jobs in a company, etc. although there are no official to prevent them from getting these jobs.
