It will also help you meet new people, become more independent and improve your confidence. Most well-paid and secure careers require a university degree. Starting work now may give you some immediate income, but it could limit your career opportunities later. Without higher education, you may have to accept low-paying positions with fewer chances of promotion. Returning to education after several years of employment may also be difficult because of financial and personal responsibilities.
